Our Resicoat EVcooling powder coatings are designed to deliver the best performance in thermal conductivity and electrical insulation in cooling tube/plate applications used by electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrid vehicles. This helps keep the battery safe and performing at its best. They also provide resistance against corrosion and are tested and approved to UL 94, vertical burn test V-0 and UL 746B temperature index of 130°C (Class B).
Resicoat EVbusbar powder coatings coat the busbars to enable the safe and effective distribution of electricity around an Electric Vehicle. Different grades are available to suit almost all busbar applications, from silver-plated to plain copper. They conform to UL 1446 Class F, UL 94 (V-0) and UL 746B Class B. Solutions for High Voltage (HV) connector systems are also available.
The Resicoat EVmotor range includes epoxy powder coatings that are specifically designed for the electrical insulation of hairpin stators. They provide outstanding resistance against heat, chemicals and moisture, as well as corrosion. For slot insulation the powder coatings deliver the edge coverage, flow, and gel time needed to maintain the air gap to prevent any arcing or current breakthrough. Special Resicoat EV grades are recognized by UL 1446 Class F and Class H.
